What is the color of 2023 pantone

 I love talking about color trends

because i think they are a very

important part of fashion and style and

i love telling you about these ahead of

time so you can be prepared for what is

this season is going to be very bold and

beautiful i love all the colors i think

you will too but hang tight and Read 

this if you're not into bold color

because neutrals in black are still

going to be part of the season hey there

i'm kiara and welcome to my blog

today we are going to look at the colors

that were predicted by the pantone color

predictions i think they are spot on and

i have followed along with them for the

past several years and what they do is

they take the colors that they see at

new york fashion week and make a color

palette actually two color palettes one

with colors and the other with classic

colors that are kind of the foundation

of all the colors

 

so they also do a

london fashion week color palette so i

will link that if you want to check it

out below so first let's just take a

look at the palette because i want you

guys to see all of these beautiful

they just seem to really go together

really well and you'll see in the photos

i have coming up next where i've picked

how well they pair together but i just

want to mention that this season is all

about dopamine dressing and it has been

previous seasons too so i guess this

whole year because coming out of the

pandemic people are really wanting to

feel good and dopamine dressing is

bold attention grabbing and feel-good

dressing so one of the bold things for

this season is bold color and there are

bold styles but we'll talk about that in

but the bold colors you can see here

if that gives you any idea you're going

to see a lot of pink this season and a

lot of green and i do want to mention

that i added very peri to this palette

in the corner here because it is the

color of the year they always pick a

and it is something that you will see

i did add very parry because we are

blues and some lavenders that

kind of come from this very peri color

so next we want to look at the classic

colors i want you to see these because

these are the foundation that helps you

mix these colors together and you'll see

but classic colors they're more of your

neutrals and in this palette you're

really really dark blue that's almost

and then a very interesting green and a

really pretty gray so all of these mix

well with a lot of the other colors

which you will see next the first color

i want to mention is bold pink and i

originally thought that pink was going

to be the color of the season but i

might be changing my mind and we'll talk

about that next but the pinks that

you're going to see you'll see a range

of pinks because there was a very light

and then a very bright pink that was

called rose violet which does have a

little bit of purple in that color so i

wanted to show you a couple of options

here ...

i thought this sweater was more of

more close to the rose violet color

which is in the background of this

and then there's the hot pink that is

all it's a little bit different than the

color that they predicted but it's still

in the pink family so we're just gonna

go with it and then the middle image i

have here is color blocking so color

blocking is really big and i love

color blocking with the pink and the

purple is more of your very peri color

and i just thought this combination was

so keep in mind as you're looking at

these that they predict the colors

but what you see may not be the exact

color but still in the same color family

we'll move on now so the next color i

because green to me is probably going to

be front and center although i thought

i have really changed my mind because of

all the green i'm seeing and it's not a

specific green i'm calling it copious

green because there's a lot of greens

and i mean there's martini olive loden

frost and the amazon color here so you

have three green really good greens in

the color palette and i just wanted to

show you these because i think the olive

green is usually pretty popular

and to me it's somewhat neutral but i

think if you wear it in an outfit like

this jumpsuit it becomes a little bit

and then the colors in the blouse here i

thought were really pretty it's a little

bit more of a mixture of different

greens and there are some green blues in

here and i just thought that was really

awesome and i think we're going to see a

lot of prints with the greens in them

and then the last photo is my dress of

course this dress is awesome it is my

favorite green and it's called amazon

green on the color palette which is a

very deep kelly green and i just thought

and then i found a button-up shirt that

was a kelly green and i thought this is

great because button-up shirts are just

really good classic pieces and if you

can find it in a bold color it just

becomes more fun for the season

and then the very peri color is in the

middle with this kimono because i

thought the greens mixed really well

the very peri color and you'll see that

and then the last one was this suit that

i found which goes a little bit green

but it also goes a little neutral like

the arctic wolf that is the color behind

it and i just thought that was neat

because it's kind of a taupe color that

make sure i look at it a little bit more

and i thought that was neat because i

think we're going to see some taupes and

neutral colors that have a little bit

two interesting colors that i thought

were available this season are the

oranges and reds and the browns and how

the oranges and reds are going a little

bit more towards the brown so the first

color is orange tiger and i just thought

it was so beautiful bright and bold and

spoke that color to me but when you look

at the blazer it does have a little bit

more of a like a pumpkin spice and

and then the second color is the caramel

cafe and i thought this jumpsuit was so

cool because it actually has a little

more red and pink to it but it's still

and then the sweater this is available

at the nordstrom anniversary sale and i

just love this sweater i got it in the

cream color but this is a little more

orangey rust color which i think was

great with this red that's called lava

and so you're going to see a lot of

versions of these but i feel like

they're going to be deep and saturated

they're going to have a little bit more

of that brown feel to them if that makes

sense you are going to see some yellows

because samoan sun was a color in the

palette and it was kind of a brightish

has a little bit of a mustard tone to it

i loved that i saw some mustard colors

in the season i think this is a color

that is usually available during the

and i just think it's beautiful and it's

beautiful with a lot of the blues and

the greens that are available but i also

thought it was interesting that i was

seeing a little bit more of the neon

like a yellow green neon color in this

suit that i thought was neat so it'll be

interesting to see just how much yellow

but it is a great color that mixes good

with browns and neutrals and might be

your choice for a bold color it wouldn't

be mine because i don't love yellow but

i know a lot of people do so if you do

let me know in the comments below fairy

perry is the color of the year and it is

a bluish purple color it's a very

interesting color but it's hard to find

anything in that exact color so you're

seeing a lot of purples mostly lavenders

and you're seeing a lot of blues

even a tealy blue so i wanted to show

you some of these that i found and i've

got the pink color in the middle that is

and i think these colors all mix really

well and i did find this lavender

cardigan that went a little bit more

blue so i thought that was interesting i

think that's the closest thing i have

and then the dress had this really

interesting blue in it and it had a

color that was a little bit of a

purplish pink color and i just thought

that was beautiful the mixture and it

was a lace dress so i wanted to put it

in here because lace is supposed to be

big for the season as well so textures

are a thing and this is one of them

but anyway the next thing was this tealy

blue blazer that i thought was amazing

and i put it against polar night which

is the darkest color in the palette it's

actually part of the classic colors

and it almost goes black but i thought

this blazer was awesome and represented

some of the blues really really well

some other blue colors that i wanted to

show you the first one is this midnight

color which is probably more like the

blazer but i didn't want it to be too

and i thought adding this picture to

this with the cardigan with the stripes

which is brown and then a really really

dark navy blue and the sleeves in this

cardigan are actually a lavender color

that brings in that very peri just a

really light lavender color with it it's

hard to tell but it was a light lavender

i thought this mixture was really nice

and then of course nosegay again the

blush pink i keep throwing it in there

because i think it goes with all the

other colors in the palette and i loved

seeing the jacket in this pink

and then the last one this color is

called water spout it's really saturated

really beautiful and it reminded me of

denim i think there's a lot of light

so that's why i put the picture here

with the denim button-up shirt because i

do think we're going to see a lot of

denim and tops and bottoms for the

season and it's popular to wear them

together now for you ladies that do not

like wearing bold color you have got

some really amazing options for neutrals

this season and i still think these

neutrals are a bit bold and the first

one i'm showing you is this color

caramel cafe but the jacket that i put

here is a camel color so camel is going

to be huge i think you're going to see

it in blazers and coats and maybe even

some pants i actually saw some faux

in the anniversary sale that were more

of a camel color or caramel cafe if you

but i love this and i think it's going

to mix well with all the blues and

and then the middle dress is an ivory so

two of the colors in the classic color

palette were autumn blonde and arctic

wolf and those were two colors that were

kind of in the cream family so i think

we're going to see a lot of ivories and

i already saw a lot of ivory and creams

in the anniversary sale with the fall

because white at one time was really big

which i remember last fall there was

actually a white in the color palette

i'm pretty sure it was last fall and now

we're seeing more creams so i think they

mix really well actually better with a

lot of the colors that are in these

and then the last color is chiseled

stone this is a classic color and i

chose this fringe jacket because it has

the creams it has the grays and it has

i love this combination of colors as

well and i still think that it stays

very neutral so we'll continue on with

the neutrals and these are more in the

cream and blush family and i know the

blush was not part of the classic colors

because it's really not a classic color

but i do think a really light blush

color can be a good neutral and you're

and handbags and things like that that

are in more of a blush tone for a

neutral look so i just think that's fun

and i wanted to include that here

but i wanted to include this rich brown

dress because i think you're going to

see a lot of rich browns not even just

in a true brown and then i wanted to

show you this trench coat because i

thought it was awesome this is also part

and it's a faux leather trench coat and

and it's a neutral color so i think it's

kind of an elevated basic neutral

and thought it was really cool and it is

really well represented for that arctic

wolf color i was not sure if i was going

to include this in this video but i

really wanted to talk about it because

on the runway shows there were a lot of

so i don't know what that means for us

in mainstream shopping but that was a

look that was pretty dominant and

there's not a black in the color palette

so the polar night color that was in the

classic colors is the closest thing

but i did want to mention this if you

love black i still think it's going to

be pretty popular even though brown and

neutrals are going to be popular but i

think the black mixes really well with

some of the very bold colors like the

like the hot orange and the hot red is

what i'm going to call them so and you

see all three of those represented here

this dress is the same one as the brown

one so i wanted to show you they're

giving you options for both here

and then i loved the bright colors in

this jogger pant with the bright top i

thought that was amazing and then this

cute little skirt suit with the bomber

jacket and this pattern it's a tweed

and it's in the black and red and i just

thought that was really cool so if you

don't do solid black from head to toe

you don't want that edgier look

you could mix the black with some bold

color and even your neutrals and i think

that would be a good look for the fall

and winter but who knows i'd love to

know your thoughts i don't know if this

one is going to come into mainstream if

people are going to be wearing a lot of

black because i think brown is really

dominating but that is just my opinion

so we will definitely see once the

season gets started so let me know your
